Hi Nellie, Thanks for recommending the farm to me. Apples are very iffy here in our area. We're in zone 3 and at about 3900 feet elevation in Choteau. When I am able to get apples, I like to make applesauce and dried apples. I love the idea about sprouting grains. Hmmmm, when I moved, where did my sprouter end up? I have a jar of buckwheat that would make great sprouts. Once a month shopping takes some disciple and a thorough shopping list as well as space to store the food. We even bought a used miniature refrigerator that's in our basement for the overflow. Good to hear from you. I hope school is going well for you.............Denise
